CEO, Founder & President
Chris Hyndman is the Founder and CEO of M Street, whose vision and execution pioneered the city’s modern restaurant scene. At age 16, Hyndman’s restaurant career began humbly as a dishwasher in a local restaurant. He opened his first restaurant, Virago, in 2000. Since, Hyndman has built his company M Street Entertainment Group, LLC to include eight highly successful ventures: Virago, Whiskey Kitchen, Kayne Prime, Tavern, Citizen, Saint Anejo, Moto, and The Rosewall. More than just a collection of restaurants, M Street has established itself as one of the city’s premiere lifestyle and entertainment brands.
Chief Operating Officer
Jamie is the Chief Operating Officer for M Street with a focus on cross-functional teams, business development, employee engagement, and special projects. Jamie joined the M Street team in July 2015 as the Director of Strategy and New Projects. She was recently promoted to COO in just over a year after proving an invaluable asset to the organization and its future direction. Previously, she undertook a three year entrepreneurial adventure as CEO and Proprietor of Tropical Suites Boutique Hotel in Bocas del Toro, Panamá.
Her professional background includes Bain & Company in a strategic consulting role as well as time in the investment banking division at Lehman Brothers in New York City. A graduate of Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management, Jamie holds an MBA with concentrations in strategy and finance, as well as bachelor's degrees in finance, international business, and marketing from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!).
Director of Finance
Dan Leverett is the Director of Finance at M Street. A Nashville native, Dan graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Finance. Prior to joining M Street, he worked as an analyst and manager at Owens & Minor, a healthcare distribution company
Director of Operations: Kayne Prime, Virago, Moto, The Rosewall
Eric Martino is the Director of Operations for Kayne Prime, Moto, and Virago. His passion for developing relationships is evident in his commitment to the guest experience and to his community. Eric serves as a member of several organizations, including the Pencil Foundation, Feed America First, and ProStart TN. Eric has lived in Nashville for the last 9 years with his wife and two daughters. Before M Street, Eric worked with Carrabba’s Italian Grill for 18 years.
Director of Operations: Saint Añejo, Whiskey Kitchen, Tavern
Gregg McDermott was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. From a young age, Gregg knew he loved the restaurant business. Working on weekends and summers at his father’s waterfront restaurant, Gregg developed his passion for people, food and hospitality. Gregg moved from New York state to Florida and his restaurant career was off and running. The next 20 years were spent with Carrabba’s Italian Grill and Texas Roadhouse. While there, Gregg worked his way up from Kitchen Manager to Managing Partner, and ultimately to Regional Manager. Gregg joined M Street in early 2014 and has brought with him his passion and desire to "Make It Better". Gregg now lives in Nashville with his wife and four boys.
Ryan McLean, the Controller at M Street, has over ten years of combined public and private accounting experience. A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting, Ryan is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining M Street, he was a manager for DGLF CPAs & Business Advisors.
Director of Human Resources
Erin Siler is the Human Resources Director at M Street, with overall responsibility for leading efforts to to attract, retain, and grow the company culture. She joined the organization in November 2015, and previously spent 10+ years leading Human Resources in the third party logistics industry. She received a BSBA in Organizational Communication from The Ohio State University. A resident of Nashville for the past 5 years, she has a passion for traveling, food, and exercise.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Justin is the Director of Sales and Marketing at M Street, responsible for leading various programs including brand and creative strategy, events & event sales, public relations, consumer promotions, advertising, graphic design, social media, consumer insights, as well as general internal and external communications. Justin joined the talented team at M Street in January of 2016; previously he founded his own Nashville-based advertising agency, ThreeOneThree.
In his earlier career, Justin dedicated seven years in trade marketing and sales with R.J. Reynolds after graduating with a degree in marketing from Arizona State University. Upon earning his MBA from Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management with concentrations in brand management, marketing, and corporate strategy, he worked as a Global Brand Manager with Mattel Toys in Los Angeles. Justin also has experience in product marketing with technology leader Asurion and as Marketing Director with singer-songwriter Kenny Chesney, both here in Nashville. He has made his niche helping organizations develop, position, and launch new brands.
