As a pioneer of elevated independent restaurants in Nashville, Virago has consistently transformed throughout its nineteen-year reign as the city’s gold standard for sushi and Asian cuisine. Virago's latest transformation is its much-anticipated move next door to 1120 McGavock Street. Refreshed with a more cosmopolitan, yet edgier design, Virago’s new space includes a seductive interior with secluded booths and private dining rooms set against a renewed focus on an energetic, late night lounge scene. Asian inspired mixology accompanies the city’s most expansive Japanese whiskey and sake lists. Sushi Chef Himmi continues his sixteen-year run of creating makimono and nigirizushi masterpieces. More than just a restaurant, Virago is an experience. And the experience is transforming... once again.
